Due to the custom-made nature of our products, all orders placed through The Archetype are subject to the following refund and cancellation terms. By placing an order, you agree to this policy.
1. Custom Product Policy
Each item is made-to-order based on your selected design, size, color, and customization. As such, we cannot offer refunds or accept returns for:
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
- Incorrect sizing (we provide size guides for each item)
- Mistakes in artwork or logos uploaded by the customer
- Minor color, scale, or placement differences due to print variation
Please review your order carefully before finalizing.
2. Order Cancellation
You may request a cancellation only if production has not started. Cancellation terms are as follows:
- Within 1 hour of placing the order: Full refund possible
- After 1 hour, if production has not begun: Partial refund may be issued
- After production begins: No cancellation or refund is possible
If you need to cancel, please email support@thearchetype.co immediately with your order number.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a product that is damaged, misprinted, or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will offer:
- A free replacement
- Or, at our discretion, a full refund for the affected item
To process your claim, we require:
- A clear photo of the item
- A description of the issue
- The order number
We do not issue refunds or replacements for damage caused by improper care or handling after delivery.
4. Delivery Delays
We work with global partners to ensure timely fulfillment. However, occasional delays may occur due to high demand, customs processing, or courier disruptions. We are not responsible for:
- Delivery delays caused by the shipping carrier
- Delays due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer
- Customs-related holdups
If your order is significantly delayed (beyond 30 days from shipment), please contact us to investigate the issue.
5. Incorrect Address
If you submit an incorrect or incomplete address and the package is returned to the sender or lost, we cannot offer a refund. In such cases:
- You may request a reprint and reshipment at your expense
- Or place a new order with corrected details
6. Reprint Requests
If there is an issue with the final product and we determine a reprint is appropriate, we will fulfill it free of charge. Reprints are limited to one per issue and must be reported within the eligible time window.
